Family Information Service (FIS)

If you are a parent or carer with a child or children under 20, the family information service (FIS) can provide you with free, impartial advice and information on -

  • • choosing childcare, childminders, day nurseries - liaise with early years senco's and support parents on a 1-1 basis
  • • help with childcare costs
  • • flexible, free early education
  • • pre-school playgroups and school nurseries
  • • before and after school clubs
  • • school holiday clubs, school pick ups
  • • activities for children and young people
  • • services available for disabled children and their families
