Support available in school for all children
All schools strive to provide the best possible education for the children in their care. They recognise that all children are unique individuals, all with their own learning needs, strengths and weaknesses. Any child may have times where they are not making expected progress in one area or another, and where schools need to plan to provide 'scaffolding' to help them learn. Many children accept this help, and then make good progress; and it is important to notice as early as possible, because the sooner help is given, the quicker any issues can be sorted without becoming more serious. This is why it is important that parents and schools work closely together.
