Carers Champion Training

Are you aware there are an estimated 13.6 million unpaid carers in the UK today?  26% of the UK adult population.

There has never been a more important time to ‘think carer’, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic carers have had to provide more care in these challenging times, often without the usual support from friends and family and local services.   

In Hull we are thinking carer  and our colleagues in the Carers Information & Support Service have created an online training Carers Champion Training session to enable us to think carer, recognise unpaid carers and refer a carer for support. 

To move this forward we need your support to identify  Carers Champions to undertake the Carers Champion Training session

By joining a network of Carers Champion you and your teams are able to help carers access the right support to  improve their wellbeing and those who they are caring for.
