Other CPD Opportunities
Special Educational Needs is a constantly changing landscape, with a number of changes taking place locally in the city of Hull in recent months. To support our educational settings to maintain an up to date knowledge of SEND in Hull and to create further capacity within their settings, we have developed some training sessions to help our education providers understand their duties in relation to the SEND assessment and review processes.

Course Title: EHC Needs Assessment Request Process Overview
Overview: A virtual training session aimed at colleagues in educational settings who complete the Education Health and Care Needs Assessment Request (EHCNAR) documentation. The course will detail the EHC Needs Assessment Statutory Process, with a focus on the key role educational settings play within this process and how to complete the EHCNAR documentation in use in Hull.
Course Cost: Free
Number of Delegates: In order to support discussion and conversation we aim to keep the number of delegates to no more than 15.
Venue: Meetings are planned to be delivered via Microsoft Teams

Course Title: EHC Plan Review Process Overview
Overview: A virtual training session aimed at colleagues in educational settings who hold or support the Education Health and Care Plan Annual Review Process. The course will detail the EHCP Review process, legal duties on educational settings as well as practical advice on how to manage this as well as how to complete the EHCP Review Meeting documentation in use in Hull.
