Hull City Council lead half termly meetings for Secondary School SENCOs and Post 16 colleagues to provide key updates and to share ideas on a half termly focus. Further details on the focus of each session can be found below.

Course Title: Autumn 1 Local Authority Led Secondary and FE SENCO Forum Meeting
Overview: This SENCO Forum will provide a summary of key SEND updates, a brief confirmation of Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Services in Hull. The main focus of this session will be the EHCP Consultation process and the statutory Education, Health and Care appeals process.

Venue: Meetings are planned to be delivered via Microsoft Teams

Course Title: Autumn 2 Local Authority Led Secondary and FE SENCO Forum Meeting
Overview: This SENCO Forum will provide a summary of key SEND updates. The main focus of this session will be language development and supporting Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
