Early Help Family Support (SEND)

What is the Early Help Family Support (SEND) service?

Is a family focussed service which provides a specialist worker whose main job is to work with the other agencies (health, education, social care and the voluntary sector) to provide advice, information, emotional and practical support to families.  This includes support to access direct payments if you feel your child may require additional support, such as a personal assistant (PA).

Who can use the service?

• Families who have a child/young person 0-25 with a special educational need and/or disability.
