Speech and Language Therapist sessions occur fortnightly with follow-ups, ensuring comprehensive communication support. Our curriculum is delivered using Total Communication, incorporating BSL and Sign Supported English, with adapted resources tailored to each student's language level.

Students are included in appropriate school pathway groups and receive discrete teaching and interventions in the Resource Base, as well as focused support in mainstream lessons.

Our Sign Graphics-supported learning environment enhances comprehension, while mainstream staff receive Deaf Awareness training.

We provide support for Deaf identity development, AQA Unit Award Scheme opportunities, and audiological management alongside liaison with auditory implant services for rehabilitation support.

Regular communication with families occurs through various channels including phone calls, texts, emails, and video calls, ensuring a holistic approach to student development and support.
